We are a Democratic Socialist movement from New York State
Who We are:
We are The Dissident Star. We are a leftist group who caters to Social Democrats, Democratic Socialists, Wayward democrats looking for a path forward, Disillusioned republicans wanting to turn over a new leaf and cast aside their allegiance to a Despot, and some other left leaning ideologies. We believe in freedom and the Constitution, as well as the mandated protections it provides to those under its law. We detest the idea that the Constitution is a debatable document and subject to termination at any time. It is an affront to everything we stand for as Americans to say that The Constitution has no basis in reality and that it should be subject to termination. To destroy the constitution is to kill America. And to kill America is to allow Fascism to take root in the world once again and to cast aside the unalienable rights afforded to all people who are created equal in the eyes of their creator.

What we want
Universal Healthcare:
We want Universal healthcare for all Americans and eventually all people of the world. Medical prices are out of hand here in America and the Belligerent Trump Administration has stripped away protections in the form of fixed insulin prices whom the creators intentionally did not patent so that people suffering from Diabetes could have a cheap and effective medical solution. These people were branded as Socialists, Communists, and unamerican pigs. Greedy companies would then take the insulin patent and sell it at exorbitant prices driving up prices and causing a crisis in America. If deciding to not patent your medicine that could save millions of lives makes you a socialist then to be frank being a socialist seems pretty righteous.
Democratic Unionism:
Henceforth known as: Unionism is a form of democracy where there is no president. Unionism decides that the people as a collective are the president of the United states. We elect house and senate representatives who put forth laws that we vote on and the people get to decide what gets passed. Under unionism which is in its infancy we may elect to restructure congress abolishing the senate and house altogether building a new institution to replace it. Under unionism the electoral college will be entirely abolished and erased from future elections it will be popular vote takes all however due to the presidency becoming null and void the system as it stands may become redundant all together.
Democracy:
We believe the people have the right to make their voices heard and influence their government. As it stands right now the ever increasing belligerence from the government is making participation in democracy more and more challenging.
Retribution for the Epstein files:
We want to see everyone named in the Epstein files regardless of political affiliation or status brought to justice and crushed under the weight of the law. That means the Clintons should be imprisoned along with the Trumps and everyone else named in these files to never see the blue moon glow again. It doesn't matter how rich you are, how powerful you think you are. The law in the right hands will always be stronger than you. And before any of you PDF defenders go off and say: “but arresting them will collapse the system as we know it” Then the system deserves to collapse. That which can be destroyed by the truth should be.
For Privacy to be respected:
The constant dystopian efforts to strip away our privacy through invasive online safety acts and ever constant AI surveillance in public by our government. These things violate our 4th amendment rights and are therefore abhorrent. They say they do this in the name of safety for children. But we know that it's about one thing. Controlling the narrative, controlling you and silencing you in a Panopticon society without the physical bars and chains.
For AI Surveillance to end:
AI surveillance has led to multiple people being misidentified by AI Cameras that have lead to multiple false arrests with almost no accountability. THIS CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO STAND. A woman named Angela Lipps was jailed for 108 days for a crime she did not commit when she was over 1000 miles away from the goddamn crime she supposedly committed. A group of US marshals then attacked her house no questions asked and held her at gunpoint in front of 4 kids because we live in such a great fucking country and then dragged her from Tennessee to North Dakota. Once she was found to not be the person of interest she simply was put out onto the streets in the middle of winter in North Dakota. She had no method of getting home as she had lost just about everything she lost: her home, her car, her dentures, her dog, this cannot be allowed to stand. AI surveillance is an abomination and a violation of the right to privacy, specifically the clause that says we have a reasonable expectation of privacy from unwarranted and illegal surveillance by our government.
Removal of wealthy interests from the pocketbooks of politicians:
The constant interference in politics and progressive agendas designed to help the American people should be considered abhorrent. These special interests lobby our congress members to write laws and policies that continue to harm the public. While enriching the members of congress who are on the wealthy’s leashes. Then turning around and lying to you that such a policy is unamerican and that they are secretly fighting to protect you from “the other guys so vote for us again!” Both sides do this to keep the American people pitted against each other. If we're so busy blaming poor migrants for the issues a few rich billionaires caused us then America will fall divided.
Freedom of Speech to be Respected:
The first and most important amendment in the Constitution is Freedom of speech and assembly is currently under fire from Tyrannical Despots who aim to silence those speaking out against their cruelty by using draconian methods such as Violent dispersion and even trample tactics with horseback mounted officers. We believe that a media of independent people unbeholden to billionaire powers and special interests is instrumental in achieving a free world. however as it stands our media and information is bought, sold, and warped for powerful interest groups to use against us.
Reclamation of stolen symbols:
Over history many hateful ideologies have co-opted symbols of other cultures to act as the symbols of their hateful rhetoric. One of the most famous examples is the Swastika. The Swastika, a Hindi symbol of peace, was taken by the Third Reich and corrupted into the Hakenreuz. Even the term Aryan comes not from European ancestry but can instead be traced back to nomadic Indo-Iranian speaking group who migrated to India other famous examples of stolen symbols include Odin, Thor, Mjolnir, the Valknut, as well as the Sonnengrad a less famous example. We desire to take these symbols back from the hands of the hateful and return them to their rightful glory.
What do we believe?
First Amendment is the most important amendment:
The first amendment which includes freedom of speech, right to organize, freedom of religion, right to petition, and freedom of press is the most important amendment to the constitution. As such it should be protected and nurtured. Disagreements are inherent to being American and free. to kill someone you disagree with for expressing their political views or doing any form of violence to them is Heinous.
Second Amendment should be used to protect the First Amendment:
As the name implies we believe the First Amendment is sacred to the functionality of a democracy. When tyrants believe themselves kings of the free world it is the duty of the people to tear down the government and build anew to resurrect democracy from the depths of oblivion. To protect the first amendment and subsequently the entire constitution we must arm ourselves responsibly. Every able bodied sound of mind law abiding citizen should keep a firearm or two, or several. They should become familiar with those firearms, learn proper gun etiquette, proper gun safety, and whenever possible if legal in your state open carry and conceal carry.
The Right to Keep and bear arms:
We believe all Socialists and Left leaning peoples should legally keep, bear, and maintain arms. Our reasoning for this is that Fascists and Authoritarians do not care how much love or empathy is in your heart. They will kill you, rape you, mutilate your corpse then throw it in a ditch and forget you ever existed. We as Americans have the fundamental right to bear arms. We cannot allow the Right wing to be the only ideology who possess firearms. As such we encourage all sound of mind law abiding leftists to keep and bear arms. And to become familiar with their firearms. Gun owners should become familiar with gun safety and proper gun etiquette. As well as how to notice signs of distress in their children and take steps to prevent a mass shooting.
Pedophilia is a crime against humanity:
The name says it all. Pedophilia is a crime against humanity and should be punishable by public humiliation and execution. If the pedophile is not guilty enough to warrant execution, prison time and public shaming with a sign being tied to them and being paraded under police escort around the area of their offense for all who live there to see. And before you say such a punishment dehumanizes them violates their dignity and causes mental health issues consider the following: The victims of pedophilia often times feel but are not limited to, Dehumanized, That their dignity is violated, and usually suffer from mental issues.
Human trafficking is a crime against humanity:
The name says it all, if you lure someone under false pretenses to traffic them you are a criminal of the highest magnitude not only should America work to exterminate the vile vermin that you are from this planet but every nation with an ounce of civility should work to make your existence as nightmarish as possible. And when we finally capture you we will lock you in a concrete box far away from any human contact so that you may go insane, consider it a more extreme version of solitary confinement. Human traffickers are not human and therefore should not be protected by human rights.
Rape is disgusting and so are you if you defend it:
Yet another name says it all. One's body is subject to one's own will alone, if they become unable to render their will upon their own body in the form of mental or physical incapacitation and you take advantage of this to violate their body against their will. You shall walk alongside the pedophiles in the Parade of Humiliation.
